Parasailing in Batumi: Your First Flight Over the Black Sea

Imagine the Batumi sunset, the sea breeze, and that surge of adrenaline you feel only when you merge with the sky. Parasailing with Lady Nini isn't just a water sport — it's an experience of luxury and pure emotion. Many guests write to us asking, "What should I bring on my first parasailing trip?" Let’s break down the experience with some practical tips.

    What to Wear

The most comfortable attire for parasailing is a swimsuit or light summer clothing that dries quickly. It is important that your outfit is comfortable and unrestricted.

    • Swimsuit: This is your best option. If you want to get wet (which often happens to add to the thrill), this is the way to go.
    • Footwear: When getting on the boat or heading out to sea, it’s easiest to wear sandals that slip off easily or to go barefoot. You will have to take your shoes off during the actual flight, so don't wear anything you'd be sad to lose.

    Things You Will Need

When we head into the open sea on the Lady Nini boat, it’s important to feel safe and comfortable:

    1. Sun Protection: The sun is twice as strong at sea. Be sure to apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) to protect your skin.
    2. Sunglasses: While on the boat before you take off, sunglasses will help you avoid the bright glare of the sun. However, remember: it is best to keep them safely in your bag during the flight.
    3. Waterproof Phone Case: If you want to take photos while flying, make sure your phone is well-protected.

    What NOT to Bring

On our last trip, one guest arrived with a large backpack, which made moving around the boat a bit uncomfortable. Tip: Bring only a small bag containing your absolute essentials. Valuable jewelry, hats that might blow away in the wind, or unnecessary accessories are best left at your hotel or in your car.

Advice from the Lady Nini Team: Enjoy the Process!
